Our Doctors


Dr Stephen Lynch

Dr Stephen Lynch qualified from Aberdeen University in 1983. After completing his GP training in Inverness, he joined Calsayseat Medical Group as a full time partner in 1987. His special interests are undergraduate and GP training and he also offers an acupuncture and joint injection service in the practice.

Dr Moira Johnston

Dr Moira Johnston qualified in Medicine from The Queen’s University, Belfast in 1983. She undertook postgraduate training in Northern Ireland and England, before joining Calsayseat Medical Group as a Partner in 1993. Her specialist interest is in undergraduate teaching and women's health.

Dr Val Aitchison

Dr Aitchison graduated from Aberdeen University in 1989 -she then undertook GP training at Calsayseat medical group in 1992, and been working part-time as a partner since 1999. She has special interest in diabetes and runs a weekly diabetic clinic.



Dr Lindsay Grant

Dr Lindsay Grant graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1999. She undertook her GP training at Woodside Medical Group and became a GP Partner in 2004. She has a specialist interst in Diabetes and co-runs the practice diabetes clinic



Dr Jamie Cassidy

Dr Jamie Cassidy graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2001. He has spent his career since graduation working in Aberdeen, and trained in general practice at Calsayseat Medical Group in 2004-05. He has worked as a partner at Calsayseat since 2007, and has a specialist interest in minor surgery and joint injections. He also has ENT experience and provides some assistance in the running of the practice's cardiovascular disease clinics. He works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.




Dr Neil Adam

Dr Adam graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2001. He completed his training in General Practice in Aberdeen, and over the last few years has worked in Northfield, before joining Calsayseat as a Partner in 2010. He has a specialist interest in Orthopaedics and Substance Misuse.



Dr Margaret Denison



Dr Margaret Denison graduated from Aberdeen University in 1996. She did training in Glasgow and Aberdeen, gaining postgraduate qualifications in Medicine for the Elderly (DGM), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFFP). She became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2004. She was a partner at a small Aberdeenshire practice before joining Calsayseat as a partner in September 2013. She is a GP tutor at the practice for fourth year medical students and physician associate students and also does some teaching for Aberdeen University outwith her practice time. Her areas of particular interest are female health, elderly medicine and teaching. She currently works for 5 sessions a week at Calsayseat (all day Monday, all day Wednesday and Thursday mornings).
